Picone joins RBC Wealth Management

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Gene Picone as director and head of agency lending sales and product.
Based in New Jersey, Picone will lead sales and product efforts to establish an agency securities lending business in the US.
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Picone served as global head of secured funding sales and product at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets from 2019 to 2022.
He first joined Scotiabank in 2009, where he was hired as part of a six-person team to spearhead the implementation and growth of the agency lending business, including sales, client management, and product development initiatives.
Previously, Picone served as managing director of global securities lending distribution at Wachovia Bank between 2006 and 2009. During his three-decade tenure in the financial services industry, Picone held a 14-year term with J.P. Morgan Chase.
