Simon Davies has relinquished his role as director of business development at Pirum after three years with the firm.
With more than 20 years working in the securities finance industry, Davies says he is departing from Pirum to pursue new opportunities.
Davies has previously worked for Deutsche Bank, Brown Brothers Harriman, BNP Paribas Fortis and Morgan Stanley.
In an online statement, Davies wrote: “It has been a privilege to work with everyone here and have the opportunity to represent what Pirum does in supporting clients and the industry, and be part of such fundamental change driven by the likes of SFTR, CSDR and collateral optimisation.
“It has not been an easy decision to move on, but I have got the opportunity to do something new that has lured me away — I’ll post more on that later on.”
