OCC welcomes Lewis to board of directors

The Options Clearing Organisation (OCC) has appointed Joseph Lewis to its board of directors.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in interest rate and foreign exchange (FX) derivatives, Lewis is currently managing director and co-head of corporate hedging and FX solutions at investment banking and capital markets firm Jefferies.
At Jefferies, Lewis oversees a global team that works with companies and private equity funds to develop and implement interest rate and FX derivatives hedging strategies.
He is responsible for managing the trading and counterparty credit risk management associated with client hedging strategies.
Prior to joining Jefferies, Lewis held senior client coverage roles at Citibank, Barclays and Lehman Brothers, where he focused on interest rate, commodity and FX derivatives.
