OCC appoints Dugan to its board of directors

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) has appointed Meaghan Dugan to its board of directors.
Dugan brings more than 20 years of experience in market making and listed options trading to the board. She is currently head of options at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
At NYSE, Dugan is responsible for oversight of the NYSE Amex Options and the NYSE Arca Options markets. She leads competitive strategy and development and manages the exchange’s options team’s business strategy, including commercial incentive programmes and market structure initiatives.
Her previous appointments include an 11-year career at Merrill Lynch, the Bank of America’s investment banking arm, where she was most recently head of product for US electronic options and global future algorithms.
Dugan also worked in electronic trading and market making at Morgan Stanley for five years.
Commenting on Dugan’s appointment, Craig Donohue, executive chairman of OCC, says: “Meaghan brings extensive experience in listed options, market structure and electronic trading technologies. She is a valuable addition to OCC, and we are pleased to welcome her to our board.”
