BNY Mellon appoints Ellis

BNY Mellon Markets has appointed Eoin Ellis as head of EMEA liquidity sales.

Based in London, Ellis brings more than a decade of experience in the financial sector to the role.

He joins the New York-based bank from a three-year term with BNP Paribas Asset Management where he was senior client relationship manager within institutional sales.

Earlier in his career, Ellis was senior commercialisation manager within investments and liquidity at HSBC from 2016 to 2017. Previously, he was a senior treasury dealer at Aon between 2013 and 2016.

BNY Mellon Markets and Execution Services is a provider of trading and financing services supporting the bank’s custody and asset-management franchises.

These client solutions span across foreign exchange, fixed income and equities, securities finance, liquidity and margin, outsourced trading and transition management.
