Garcia joins FinOptSys

Securities finance platform and peer-to-peer trading provider FinOptSys has appointed Anna Garcia to its advisory board.
Based in New York, Garcia will harness her experience across capital markets and fundraising to accelerate the firm’s growth and deliver FinOptSys’ solutions into the global financial services industry.
Garcia brings more than 15 years’ experience in financial services, including various senior roles across capital markets, investment banking and asset management.
She is the founder and managing partner of New York-based fintech fund Altari Ventures.
Previously, Garcia held a seven-year tenure as a post-seed business-to-business Software-as-a-Service investor at Runway Venture Partners.
Commenting on the appointment, FinOptSys founder and CEO Divyesh Bhakta says: “With our similar views about the enormous opportunities ahead in modernising the financial services infrastructure, the functioning of capital markets and the institutional processes in financial services, we could not ask for a better visionary than Anna to guide us on the next phase of our evolution.”
