Northern Trust hires Binder as global head of collateral

Northern Trust Asset Servicing has appointed Barney Binder as global head of collateral.
Based in London, Binder will lead the continued strategic evolution of the firm’s global collateral capabilities across operations, product development and client service.
He will report to Nadia Ivanova, head of business services at Northern Trust Asset Servicing.
Binder brings more than 15 years of industry experience to the role, during which he has led fixed income derivatives and collateral capabilities at HSBC and Morgan Stanley.
Earlier in his career, he held roles within engineering, consulting and global data operations.
