Watson joins Tonic as programme manager

Emma Watson has joined capital markets consultancy firm Tonic as programme manager.

Based in London, she will partner with Tonic’s institutional clients to accelerate and execute complex, multi-year programmes.

Watson holds more than 25 years of international capital markets experience, working across a range of product, operational and strategic transformation roles at Tier 1 banks and service providers.

Most recently, she was an executive director of post-trade markets at J.P Morgan, which she joined in 2020.

Commenting on her new role, Watson says: “I’m eager to apply my domain and transformation expertise to help Tonic’s growing client base, including my specialisms across margin and collateral, securities finance, full post-trade and risk.”

Chris Watts, Tonic CEO and co-founder, adds: “Emma is a transformation leader who will further enhance our securities finance and post-trade capabilities, as we continue to extend our domain and service scope to our clients.”
