TreasurySpring has hired Romain Dumas as head of structured solutions.

Based in London, Dumas brings more than three decades of experience to his new position.

Over two decades at Credit Suisse, he has held senior roles across global markets and central treasury, overseeing repo rates globally, collateral optimisation, secured liabilities across all asset classes, and the management of high-quality liquid assets (HQLA) portfolios.

Following UBS’ acquisition of Credit Suisse, Dumas facilitated the integration of his legacy teams into UBS Global Treasury before leading the design of the group HQLA monetisation framework.

Previously in his career, Dumas worked as a government bond trader at Lehman Brothers, as well as Merrill Lynch.

Additionally, he has been an active member of the International Capital Market Association’s (ICMA’s) European Repo and Collateral Committee (2011 - 2021), the Bank of England’s Money Market Committee (2015 - 2024), and the LCH Product Advisory Group.
