EquiLend has appointed Nick Delikaris as chief product officer and a member of the firm’s executive leadership team.

Based in New York, Delikaris will oversee EquiLend’s integrated solutions portfolio, including Trading, Post-Trade, Data & Analytics, Regtec, Spire, and 1Source.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial services, he will lead the company’s strategic product roadmap, focusing on innovation, automation and client-driven solutions.

Delikaris joins the EquiLend team from State Street, where he was global head of platform and data solutions.

In this role, he led quantitative and platform-related functions including electronic trading, business process engineering, and performance analytics.

Furthermore, he was a key contributor to the firm’s digital strategy, focusing on emerging technologies, digital assets, platform integration, and strategic industry partnerships.

Previously, Delikaris led digital agency lending for Coinbase’s institutional prime brokerage finance business and spent over a decade at Goldman Sachs in various trading roles.

Delikaris co-founded the FinTech & Innovation Committee at the Risk Management Association (RMA). In 2024, he oversaw the group’s transition to ISLA Americas, where he currently serves as its chair.

Commenting on his new role, Delikaris says: “EquiLend’s tech-driven approach offers a unique opportunity to enhance efficiency and automation, and I’m eager to build on its legacy of market-leading solutions.

“I look forward to leveraging my experience in securities lending and collaborating with our clients and partners to drive product innovation and strategic growth.”

EquiLend CEO Rich Grossi adds: “Nick’s appointment comes at an exciting time for EquiLend as we continue to invest in our product suite and look to deploy transformative solutions to the industry.

“Nick brings a wealth of experience in securities lending, trading, and financial technology and will be a key member of our team as we look to drive enhanced client value and advance EquiLend’s growth.”
