BNP Paribas Securities Services appoints Patrick Colle as CEO

BNP Paribas Securities Services will appoint Patrick Colle as CEO with effect during the month of May. Patrick joined BNP Paribas Securities Services in 2006 and has been Head of BNP Paribas Securities Services' UK business since March 2008.
Patrick Colle has over 24 years of experience in the industry, of which four within BNP Paribas Securities Services. As head of the UK business, he has led BNP Paribas Securities Services' successful development in this key financial centre. Prior to this, Patrick Colle was at JPMorgan Chase which he joined in 1986 and where he held several positions in cash management, securities clearing and custody in Paris and New York before becoming Global Head of ADRs in London in 2001.
Commenting on his appointment, Jacques d'Estais, Chairman and acting CEO, BNP Paribas Securities Services, said: "I am delighted to announce Patrick's appointment. BNP Paribas Securities Services continues to develop its global on-the-ground presence, investing in the people, technology and market connectivity that enable the Bank to provide buy-side, sell-side and issuer solutions with the global scale and local flexibility clients require. "We will continue to develop our strategy and invest in value-added solutions to meet our clients' complex needs across the globe", adds Jacques d'Estais.

Jacques d'Estais will remain Chairman of BNP Paribas Securities Services. James McAleenan will replace Patrick as Head of the UK business, pending FSA approval. James is currently Chief operating officer, BNP Paribas Securities Services UK.
