LCH achieves record half-year through SwapClear

LCH’s SwapClear achieved a record half-year for total clearing volumes with $660 trillion notional cleared in H1 2019, a 15 percent increase compared to H1 2018.
In terms of client (end-user) clearing volumes, SwapClear registered a record $159 trillion in notional, a 16 percent increase compared to H1 2018.
LCH also reported a record H1 for RepoClear across LCH Ltd and SA, with €105.5 trillion in nominal cleared, an 8 percent growth versus H1 2018 across RepoClear.
On 19 June 2019, RepoClear SA cleared €874 billion in daily volume.
Q2 2019 was a record quarter for RepoClear with €53.1trillion in nominal cleared across the business.
