Marathon Asset Management has selected SimCorp Dimension as its future investment management system. The UK based firm, which manages equities for a globally diverse client base of institutional investors, will use the system to support its portfolio accounting operations serving traditional and alternative funds. It will also enable trade processing, asset servicing, performance measurement, stock lending and funds valuation.
SimCorp Dimension, which offers seamless processing that can support the entire investment management process, will provide Marathon with a single system to replace three of the firm’s existing application systems and a number of manual processes in the middle and back office areas.
“With SimCorp’s commitment to R&D and the system’s seamless processing capability, SimCorp Dimension will provide us with a future proof solution,” says David Brown, chief operating officer of Marathon. “The system’s ability to provide transparency across all activities, improved real time valuation and improved client services from better data, will provide us with an excellent platform for future growth.”
