Kellner DiLeo has appointed Robert Egan as senior vice president, global head of international securities lending. Egan will start on 8 August and will be based in New York, taking on many of the responsibilities held by Mike Pezello who passed away in June.
Egan's previous roles have included over eight years at HBK Capital Management where he was head of the equity finance desk and positions at Citadel Investment Group, Maple Partners USA and Paloma Partners.
The appointment is one of a series for the Kellner team, who have also taken on Jon Wedrogowski, vice president and head of analytics and Jill Mandarino, vice president trading ETFs in April. Prior to this Don MacNeil joined the firm as senior vice president of its securities lending group focussing on ADR and Canadian equity opportunities for the firm’s matched book securities lending strategy.
