Societe Generale Corporate Investment Bank has extended the role of LLoyd Michaels, in efforts to promote a synthetic alternative to prime brokerage.
Coupled with his existing role as head of one delta sales for Asia, Michaels is now head of equity finance and one delta sales for Europe, and global head of dynamic portfolio Swaps (DPS). In his extended role, he will be responsible for managing and coordinating the bank’s commercial efforts in London, Paris and the Asia region.
As global head of DPS, Michaels will take the lead on pushing Societe Generale CIB’s DPS activities in all regions, while promoting the bank’s global cross-sell efforts on the synthetic alternative to prime brokerage.
He has more than 15 years' experience in synthetic prime brokerage sales in Hong Kong and London. He will be based in London as of 15 August and will report to James Treseler globally, and to Alastair Beattie for Europe, Tim Bousser for Asia and Thomas Droumenq for the Americas.
