01 July 2015 New York

Wells Fargo Securities has confirmed that Robert Sackett has joined its prime services division as managing director and head of securities lending.
Sackett will lead securities lending as well as support the prime brokerage and equity trading businesses. He is based in New York and reports to Eamon McCooey, head of prime services.
McCooey said: “With over 20 years of experience in prime brokerage and equity finance, Sackett brings strong leadership and depth of expertise that complements and enhances the breadth of our prime services platform.”
“We continually look to deliver superior advice and service to our clients, and having Sackett lead our team is a great example of that commitment.”
Before moving to Wells Fargo, Sackett served as head of prime services and securities lending at TradeStation Securities.
He has also worked as head of US equity finance specials trading at Citigroup, where he managed the trading for both the firm and its prime brokerage clients.
Sackett spent 17 years at Citigroup and its predecessor companies in increasingly senior level positions, all within the equity finance division.
