Exclusive: Benga Sofoluwe leaves Citi

Benga Sofoluwe has departed his role as managing director, regional head of securities lending and delta one sales, Asia Pacific, at Citi.

Sofoluwe, who was based in Hong Kong, joined Citi in 2014 to run the bank’s equity finance desk.

Previously, Sofoluwe served as managing director and European head of securities lending at Deutsche Bank from 1999 to 2012.

He also served as a stock loan trader at Morgan Stanley from 1994 to 1999.
