Paul Furzer resurfaces at HSBC

HSBC welcomes Paul Furzer as its senior project lead for its collateral treasury trading desk.
Furzer, who is based in London, will be reporting to Jamie Anderson, head of collateral treasury trading, markets and securities services.
The securities finance veteran’s role is to help HSBC enhance the inventory optimisation process across the bank, in line with its on-going drive to efficiently manage markets and securities services’ financial resources.
Furzer left Morgan Stanley in 2019 where he had spent nearly 23 years of his career.
Furzer had joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 and most recently served as executive director, head of secured funding of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, following a role as an equity finance trader.
