Foley to join RBC Dexia

William Foley has been appointed director of securities lending sales at RBC Dexia. He will start his new role on September 6.

Based in London, he will report to Blair McPherson, head of technical sales, market products and services, and will be responsible for sales strategy, execution and market expansion, with a particular focus on the expansion of RBC Dexia's third-party agency lending product offering.

Foley will join from J.P. Morgan, where he was senior sales executive for agency securities lending. Previous roles have included the position of global head of securities finance at Deutsche Bank's custody division and a senior sales trader on the equity finance trading desk at ABN Amro
