Eurex Clearing will introduce the production launch of the central counterparty (CCP) Release 17.0 on 18 November this year.

All clearing members who clear Eurex repo and securities lending transactions and respective settlement institutes are affected by the introduction of CCP Release 17.0.

The release will enhance CCP reports with the information required to be compliant with the Securities Financing Transaction Regulation reporting.

Based on the technical standards with regards to the extension of trade registration to securities financing transactions, Eurex Clearing decided to enhance CCP reports for cleared repos and lending CCP business by additional information on the unique transaction identifier and clearing timestamp, which can be used in the member’s reporting towards the regulator.

Eurex advised that clearing members should contact their third-party providers as soon as possible to ensure that the necessary adjustments can be made.
